At the recent “Economics of CCUS Applications” event held in Athens by the Institute of Energy for Southeast Europe (IENE), Charalampos Kouris presented the OLYMPUS CCS project and its role in advancing full-chain carbon capture and storage in Greece.

As part of HERACLES Group and aligned with Holcim’s decarbonization roadmap, the OLYMPUS CCS project is designed to capture over 1 million tons of CO₂ annually—entirely powered by renewable energy and waste heat recovery.
